Wife and I decided to try this place for lunch today while out shopping. We sat down and checked out the menu and they quickly brought out our coffee and water while we checked out the menu. We ordered a bacon burger and a blt melt and paid a little extra for a salad. The salad came out quickly and was very fresh and delicious. We waited a few minutes and when our order came out I looked at the burger and blt and couldn't believe how much bacon was on them. Both were delicious and huge and we both were stuffed after we ate them. What a wonderful place to eat we will be back.

We were driving by and saw the little sign in the last corner of a shopping mall. This is a delightful little breakfast and lunch place, moderately priced; what a treat!! They have one of the best "Italian Wedding Soups" I have had in years all their food is homemade! Clean and inexpensive, fresh food with good service.

So I found this place, as the fast food chain's really lack quality. Plus I like to have a great breakfast selection. Not many restaurants serve French toast. It's usually my go to or eggs. They also make our bacon crispy and you get a lot of it. They make homemade soup a variety throughout the week. There is a wait sometimes so arrive early. This holiday slow down get a great meal and start your morning right.

Food is good and equally priced. The service is tremendous. Only 1 thing, if your visit falls in the summer the family shuts the doors for a week to go on vacation (good for them). Call 1st it's definitely worth your visit for a great breakfast or lunch.

Walking in this is a small diner, that is always busy. The line moves quickly. Sitting down you can tell it is a mom and pop type restaurant. I ordered a full sized omelet and man was that a mistake not only was it huge but it was tasty. The decor in this place is decent and more of a lighter vibe.

Looked for a small local establishment for lunch while visiting the Detroit area and found this little gem in northern suburb. Sat at the counter and had a nice midday experience. Wife had a reuben that was packed with corned beef and nicely toasted on the outside. And I had perhaps the best patty melt that I've had in years. We sat at the counter and had excellent service along with friendly banter with the rest of the wait staff. Clearly a place that locals frequent but we were welcomed as if we were regulars. Orange Peel is a small place so don't be surprised if you have to wait, but the wait is well worth it for breakfast or lunch.

Open early which is perfect for me as I work midnights. The woman who works in the mornings is super nice. The food is always fantastic. Portions are huge and the BACON?! Definitely a gem tucked away in the corner and worth checking out. I will update the review with a photo next time I go. Try it! You won't be disappointed.

Loved my Southern Benedict! I swapped out the regular sausage with chorizo patties and it was a big hit on my taste buds. The biscuits were some of the better ones I've had, even being used to eating breakfast in Texas. We'll be back!

Just so you know, I rarely give out a five star review, but this little restaurant caught me on all counts. We went here on a Sunday morning around 11 and there was a short wait for a table. They seem to keep it going because it is a small restaurant. Once seated, our waitress immediately got our drink order and asked if we had any questions. Her name was Shirley and she was awesome!! I ordered my vegetable egg white omelette and she asked if I wanted a two or three egg omelette. I hesitated and she added "the two egg omelettes are really large " so that made my decision for me. I added jalapeños to the omelette for an extra charge. I was glad I only got the two egg omelette because as delicious as it was, I still brought about half of it home! It was huge!! My friend got a half order of pancakes and brought half of that home too. The orders are huge and the food was cooked perfectly! I will definitely go here again!!

I'm so glad that this place was on yelp, otherwise I would never have known it even existed. It's tucked away in a CVS parking lot, and I had a hard time finding it even with my navigator app. The interior looks like any one of thousands of diners you've probably seen before. It's unfortunate that the mediocrity of lesser places has made "diner" something that people often dread. But, the quality here blows all that out of the water. For $7.99, I got a gargantuan Italian breakfast bowl, with green peppers, tomatoes, onion, sausage, and mozzarella cheese on top. This is enough food for probably the next three days. And, best of all, it's really good! The freshness of all the ingredients almost makes it seem like I'm not eating something heavy. And, the hash brown potatoes in the bowl are phenomenal: fresh, with just the right amount of butter. I decided to get a side of biscuits & gravy, not realizing how much food I was getting with the breakfast bowl. This is, quite simply, some of the best sausage gravy I've ever had. It's savory and rich, with a good amount of sausage throughout. I was told that it's homemade, and the love that went into it clearly shows. The biscuits are soft, but probably were made earlier in the day. Still tasty, however. And, I can't finish this review without talking about how phenomenal the service was. One thing I can't stand when I'm having breakfast at a restaurant is when I run out of coffee, and there's no one there to refill it. That was never a problem here. The coffee never got less than half full at any point. When I told the waitress how much I liked the gravy, she gave me extra gravy to-go, free of charge! And, it was near closing time, so they also gave me a free large coffee to go. I know there's only so much you can learn from a restaurant with one visit, but this feels like a place that takes good care of its employees. The servers were smiling and talking, the manager was smiling and talking, but never to the point where they neglected the customers. I like that feeling when I go to a restaurant. It tells me that everybody cares about what they serve, which is something you can't find in many places these days. Add that to the phenomenal price and quality of the food, and this is the place will be coming back to many, many times.
